How it works? Sell or buy your air conditioner in 3 secure steps

With VENTILO, the transaction is simple, fast, and secure. Step 1: the seller creates a free listing in a few clicks. They describe their device (brand, power in BTU, age, condition, energy consumption) and add up to 5 photos. To guarantee reliability, we ask for proof of purchase or a photo of the nameplate. The listing is then validated by our team within 24 hours. Step 2: the buyer browses geolocated listings on an interactive map of Ghent and surrounding municipalities (Gentbrugge, Sint-Amandsberg, Mariakerke, etc.). They can filter by price, device type, or distance. When they find the ideal offer, they send a message directly to the seller via our integrated messaging system, without disclosing their phone number. Step 3: the transaction is finalized securely. When both parties agree on the price, the buyer makes the payment via our secure system (bank card or instant transfer). The funds are held in an escrow account.
